One of the greatest myths of hypnosis is who is in control during the session. Should it be the client or the hypnotist? Well ask yourself this question, would you be happy if a brain surgeon gave you the scalpel and said you’d need to cut just here?

    Hi johnathan
You short videos are a great help & introduction to the world of hypnosis.
A practical approach conducive to learning.
Would like to ask a question ?
when you give a person a suggestion, ie, that when they awake, the next time you click your fingers and say sleep they will autimatically go into a trance like state.
How long does this suggestion last for ?, does it eventually wear off so to speak, in time.
My subject is worried about the control aspect, & doesn’t want me clicking my fingers & saying sleep in the middle of Asda.
I understand the rules of hypnosis & respect that, so wouldn’t do that, but think it is a valid comment.

I’ve heard a lot regarding whether or not everyone can be hypnotized. My question: can anyone learn to be a hypnotist?
